A Counter Tenor Star! June 22, 2015 By G. Duncan (Boston, MA) See All My Reviews "First, I did not buy this CD from Arkiv, but SHOULD have probably. I have had many problems with the CD itself. The first I bought played thru successfully and I can honestly say the Howell voice is simply wonderful. He has these works down to a T. Hopefully he will record more. However, be wary. That CD stopped working in my BOSE system whereas no other CD I own does. So I ordered a second one. It was cancelled when they claimed the copy had a quote tech problem end quote. So I ordered a Third copy, put it in the Bose and played. Well Track one also stopped, but played around and got a play thru the entire CD once. But now I wonder if ALL copies of this CD bought anywhere are suspect, coming from quote americanbach.org/recordings end quote. I think just hearing this amazing voice is worth all the trouble. Suffice it to say, if this copy goes kaput ultimately, I may buy one here at reliable Arkiv." Report Abuse
