A Fine Karajan Offering. October 13, 2012
By Richard F. Buckley (Jefferson Hills, PA) See All My Reviews
"This CD is a winner! Von Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic weave their usual mastery through a selection of pieces that are particularly suited for casual listening. Still, if you are so inclined, you can listen to them intently and come away with a very rewarding experience. The fifteen tracks offered on the disc are well selected and represent the best of ballet music. The CD is typical of the Eloquence series in that the selections are always outstanding, the artists are superb, the sound is delightful and the price is ridiculously low. Pick up this disc while it is still available. It is an outstanding value."
