Is this really Beethoven April 13, 2013
By Richard H. (Glendale, AZ) See All My Reviews
"Does anyone listen to Wellington's anymore? It's okay but not the real stuff of Beethoven. Franz Liszt was never much of a composer for orchestra and these works confirm it. This is one of Kunzel's early efforts with Telarc when battle music was all the rage during the infancy of CD. Lots of bangs and booms. Don't turn it up too loud or it's goodbye tweeters."
