ravishing February 18, 2013 By J S E T. (West Grove, PA) See All My Reviews "Price, Tucker, and Elias sing this opera so beautifully. Leinsdorf paces it extremely well. This is not a slow, dallying wander through the score, but a purposeful dramatic portrayal. The orchestra and chorus are first rate, and RCA's new Italian studio gave them artistic control for an audiophile recording of its day. Scotto, Domingo, and Maazel do very well also on Sony, but alas, their recoding is not presently in print." Report Abuse
