The cellist, Louise Hopkins, was born in 1968 and studied with Raphael Wallfisch and Steven Isserlis at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She made her concerto debut at the Barbican Hall performing the Lutoslawski Concerto with the composer conducting. As a chamber musician she has performed with The Takacs Quartet and Thomas Ades with whom she has recorded his piano quartet "catch" for EMI. At the age of 25 she was appointed as a Cello Professor to the staff of the Guildhall School and the Yehudi Menuhin School. Aleksandar Madzar was born in Belgrade in 1968. He studied piano in Moscow, Brussels and Strasbourg.
