Gala) with 5 beautiful concerts.
Within them you will find Nabucco which had its triumphant
first performance at La Scala in Milan on 1842. The victory he
won with this opera did not bring Verdi a definitive condition
of economic security and ease to work.Throughout the 1840s
Verdi set himself very intensive rhythms of work in order to
consolidate his position as a successful composer. These
were the infamous “galley years”. Emblematic of this period
are two operas proposed in our collection, Ernani and Il
Corsaro.
