Lively but Serious Orchestral Chestnuts July 1, 2015 By Helene Spierman (VALLEY STREAM, NY) See All My Reviews "This is a fine compilation-style disk of lively but serious orchestral chestnuts. I bought it to listen to on long drives, but it's a bit too *interesting* to have on in the car if you need to follow GPS directions. It would also make a nice gift -- I bought two extras: one for someone who likes Classical music, the other as a sort of introduction. The performances by various orchestras and the sound are both good. But I can't figure out why the cover art would be as comical as it is! Maybe the connection is that the "full" sound of the orchestra matches the "full" girth of the cover girl!" Report Abuse
