Hauntingly beautiful renditionsOctober 14, 2014By Alec R. (BETHESDA, MD)See All My Reviews"How this disc is not "recommended" by Arkivmusic is well beyond me. These performances occurred shortly before Bernstein's death, and he might well have anticipated this given his slow, precise pacing each work received. The result is a slightly idiosyncratic (read: don't hesitate if you have multiple recording of each piece) but highly revelatory rendition."Report Abuse
