Notes and Editorial Reviews

REVIEW:

Yepes’s cadenza in the famous Guitar Concerto is as clean and bright as a new pin, and his rapid repeated-note finish is fantastic. I am coming to regard the Fantasia para un gentilhombre with its gracious nobility and baroque feeling as a masterpiece to match the more famous Concerto. Zabaleta's performance and interpretation of the Harp Concerto is most beautiful and convincing. The recording is immaculate.
