Not For Me July 7, 2019 By anthony s. (SUN CITY WEST, AZ) See All My Reviews "As often happens, Colin Davis drags his tempi almost to a stop where no stops are indicated in the score. His pianissimos are barely audible. On this template, his rare bursts of energy seem out of place. But it's difficult to say I don't like Davis because his Dvorak symphonies are dynamic and well balanced, and he has recorded several operas with similar appeal. If anyone likes Berlioz, this CD is not for them, or me." Report Abuse
