Lots of beautiful Bach November 21, 2018 By Alan G. (Las Vegas, NV) See All My Reviews "As you would expect on D.G., this album is very well recorded, play this for what Pianos sound like. Its full of lively, precise playing thats sounds great." Report Abuse
Entrancing October 27, 2018 By L. Belkora (IRVINE, CA) See All My Reviews "I ordered this album based on catching just the final few bars of one of the tracks on KUSC--I didn't even know the title of the piece I'd just heard, I just noted the album name and ordered it right away. It does not disappoint. Track 28, Sinfonia 15 in B minor, is so entrancing that I always think I'm going to press rewind and listen again, but then track 29 has started already, and that's good too, and before I know it I've finished the CD, and then it seems churlish to skip straight to track 28, because one of the things about this album is that the order of the pieces has been thoughtfully chosen to be a kind of exploration of Bach's inventiveness. I'm delighted with the CD and it's been a great way for my teenager (who is more familiar with ballet music) to get to know Bach better. She actually turns it on when she's driving the car by herself: high praise." Report Abuse
