Notes and Editorial Reviews

Over the past sixty years, several 'families' of musicians have written the history of harmonia mundi. After the success of Atys and the St. Matthew Passion, those families began branching out and opening up to new generations. They continued a legacy defined by a passion for excellence and a sincerity of interpretation. This 18-disc set (volume two of two) invites you to relive the highlights of the label's last thirty years from 1988-2018.

Where are the track listings? June 22, 2018 By Peter W C. (Pleasantville, NY) See All My Reviews "The music deserves a five star review but of the seven discs I have so far imported to iTunes six have no track data at all. You have to enter the details manually which when most of the discs contain multiple artists and composers is laborious to say the least. This is an absurd oversight by Harmonia Mundi. I went to their website and there is no listing there either! Nor is there a way to contact the company with feedback or requests. Such a shame for them and their amazing stable of artists. If they are trying to accelerate the demise of the CD they are going about it the right way." Report Abuse
