Bach the Indestructible !August 31, 2015By David Walker (Melbourne, Victoria)See All My Reviews"Jed Wentz provides interesting liner notes with his album of 'Complete Chamber Music for Flute'. For disc one he writes: 'An Interpreter's Apology'. For disc two he writes: 'An Apologists Interpretation' which begins from the other end of the booklet in an inverted position (upside down). I interpreted this most unusual format as a kind of textual inversion. A metaphor for a mirror cannon? Fascinating! The performance of the music is excellent. This is a nicely crafted recording. I highly recommend this album for all collectors and devotees of Bach. Don't be fooled by the bargain price! Brilliant Classics has some hot artists."Report Abuse
