performs the oboe concerto with soloist John Mack.
Though the Bassoon Concerto was written when Mozart was only 18, it is still brilliant. The Cleveland Orchestra captures it beautifully here. Finally, an exceptional version of Mozart's Horn Concertos by the London Symphony Orchestra rounds out the collection. French Hornist Barry Tuckwell gives a regal performance. The quality of all the music on this set is just one reason why Decca is such a great label. Read less
