Spectacular Vivaldi!!! August 31, 2012 By Richard F. Buckley (Jefferson Hills, PA) See All My Reviews "I bought this CD expressly for the Concerto for Lute, Two Violins and Basso Continuo in D Major, which I have always loved. I have been excited and surprised by the quality of all of the other concertos on this disc! Vivaldi is a true underrated genius. His music never fails to please, and John Williams brings the music to life like nobody else. This is truly a Desert Island Disc!! If I could give it more than five stars I would do so. Highly recommended." Report Abuse
