Warren takes the lead Callas prformance wonderMay 16, 2012By malcolm fellows (cullman, AL)See All My Reviews"Tomy recording Friends, I am sorry this disc did not measre up to the recording quality of the others I have in that era of years performance were given. T he soun in plain englishs awful, but the performaces till keep shining through with Warren being heard Microphone or not. His deep notes and high end of the scale make your ears twitch wth the reverbe of sound. Maria is Maria and gets better the furtner she is into the performance and when the Main Aria Solo Verdi writes for all his soporanos she is quick to seize the moment to shine a bring the house down Wellworth the collection and the listen to Too bad about the recording qualiy malcolmC.
