Singing is excellent, sound is outstanding--probably better than any audio recording. The video detail in blu-ray is amazing. As for the production... The venue is itself is distracting and is just too big for anything intimate. Then ending is unusual, but this seems to be the trend. Scarpia's entrance, however, is spectacular. Raimondi's singing and acting are excellent and he's worth the price of admission. Cedolins is very convincing. Alvarez keeps looking at the conductor rather than the other singers." Report Abuse
