My favorite Hewitt CD June 19, 2012 By David W. (Halifax, NS) See All My Reviews "I love this CD so much I have given it to many people gifts -- from those very knowledgeable of classical music to those who know very little. The selection of Bach compositions is quite diverse, and Hewitt plays them all beautifully. Even on the simpler arrangements it is impossible not to appreciate her skillful voicing. Some of the arrangements are of popular compositions (chorale preludes and cantatas), but many are not. The detailed liner notes make it easy to source the scores for these transcriptions -- I have them all." Report Abuse
