One Virtuosic Performance After Another January 31, 2017 By Douglas B. (Pacific Palisades, CA) See All My Reviews "Simply put, this is a truly sublime opera gala, replete with treasures each gloriously performed. Dmitry Hvorostovsky's four contributions alone make this a mandatory listening experience, but each of the Russian artists who are not as well known in match his artistry as well as his "thrill power." The inclusions of arias by Ewa Podles, Renee Fleming, Arleen Auger and Alessandra Marc represent extraordinary added value. A real find, this disc! Kudos to DELOS." Report Abuse
