Enjoyable Recording July 15, 2013

"Very nice recording, great precision in performance. I enjoyed the more "relaxed" tempo of the allegro movements of the orchestral suite, which tended to bring out the interplay of the musical voices. Some parts of the Brandenburg concertos were a little too slow for my taste, but all very musical. It was also nice to hear a CD based on a well-mastered analog recording; the brass was bright without the annoying "digital sound"."
