Notes and Editorial Reviews

Theodora Geraets studied in Amsterdam, Dusseldorf and with Kyung Wha-Chung in London and Dorothy Delay in New York. Currently she is a Professor at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Erika Waardenburg studied at the conservatories of Utrecht and Brussels. At the age of 23 she won the prestigious International Gaudeamus Concours for contemporary music. She is a teacher and coordinator at the harp department of the conservatories of Utrecht and Amsterdam. At the same time she gives masterclasses for young talented harpists both within and outside the Netherlands. Her greatest accomplishment in her teaching career is the founding of the young talent class, enabling very young harpists to study under her guidance, raising their standards to Read more unprecedented heights.
