Notes and Editorial Reviews

Two late favourites beautifully recorded - the piano concerto particularly telling
The great glory of this set is the work of Andreas Staier on the fortepiano. The German delivers one of the most satisfying readings of the Piano Concerto No 27 on record. Lorenzo Coppola is not quite as consistent in the Clarinet Concerto but his is still an interesting and musical interpretation.
