Impeccable Mendelssohn October 10, 2012

"Tennstedt had his own ideas about interpeting various pieces of music. I have a version of Wagner's Tannhauser Overture that pulls out all the stops! This version of Mendelssohn's Fourth is spot on though. There is attention to detail without losing the rythmic drive and playfulness that is Mendolssohn. One of the best interpetations you are likely to hear! The Schubert is also well done. Almost as fine as the Mendelssohn. Highly recommended."
