give it a pass September 2, 2014 By Andrew Corbett (Newark, DE) See All My Reviews "The orchestra, conductor and performances are first rate. The disc, itself, is the main problem. As with others produced by ArKiv, I have had trouble playing the disc in my Bose player. Whrn it finally worked the volume was so low I had to turn up my player to 90% to hear it at all. As I've said, this problem is not unique to this disc alone, but is endemic to the form - discs made on license by ArKiv. My solution, as of now, is to suspend any further purchases of these discs, despite the fact that some of the performances would be worth having - if one could actually hear the performance" Report Abuse
