OUTSTANDING!!!! May 2, 2013 By P. Ledesma (Wellington, KS) See All My Reviews "As a lifetime lover of the Bach Cantatas, this offering is top notch in every aspect! Every effort is made to reproduce instrumental authenticity (which, as an unfortunate side effect, contributes to occasional balance problems with the vocalists) and the overall superiority of each of the performances shine brilliantly! Harnoncourt and Leonhart have masterfully prepared these skilled ensembles, and Thomas Hampson once again turns in a stellar vocal contribution! Hopefully more of these Cantata offerings will be made available in future sales events (hint, hint)!" Report Abuse
