An Unexpectedly Exciting Capriccio Italien August 18, 2012
By Edward M. (Salt lake city, UT) See All My Reviews
"Famously known for his British reserve, Boult conducts an exciting Capriccio Italien, with the closing moments played more slowly than I have ever heard by any conductor I have listened to. Boult has also recorded Smetana's The Mouldau with an equally slow finish that must be heard to be believed. Currently out of print.
