Notes and Editorial Reviews

Immensely satisfying Handel, well worth the long wait
A follow-up to their previously much-praised Handel selection, La Risonanza under Fabio Bonizzoni score another winner here. For all the genuinely felt emotion in the singing and playing, there is something refreshingly unsentimental, even brisk, about these performances and they are all the more compelling for that.
