A Most Fantastic Bargain! February 28, 2016 By Richard Buckley (Oakmont, PA) See All My Reviews "This 5 CD set is one of the most unbelievable bargains available in classical music today! It features a list of composers simply unequaled - Mendelsohn, Bruch, Saint-Saens, Mozart, Beethoven, Gluck, Kreisler, Dvorak Shubert, Massenet, Faure, Schumann, Sarasate and Ravel. Not to be undone, the greatest violinists alive today play the music: Ruggieri Ricci, Henryk Szerying, David Oistrakh (my personal favorite) and Arthur Grumiaux. The set features over five hours of some of the finest music you could ever want to hear. The sound quality is surprisingly outstanding. I was amazed by the overall quality of everything presented - especially considering the most reasonable price! If you get a chance to purchase this superb set of discs, do not hesitate! You won't believe the level of quality at any price - never mind the pittance for which it is available now." Report Abuse
