I've got a feelin' I'm fallin' for this recordin' December 22, 2013 By Rich Cardo See All My Reviews "Artistry is measured by the craftsmanship of the artist and the beauty produced. As with any composer, wether it's Mozart or Fats Waller, one must capture the sound of the person/composer, the time, the genre. The music is great, reflective of the day and the social issues, but not to get too analytical, it's fun to listen, too. The group is great, but Kudos to Gene and Ronald, as they are very featured, and Fred Mills perfect tambre, with a great rendition of Black and Blue and the rest of the group just locking in with this unique sound. This is what ensemble is all about. The ability to meld to produce the right sound. Popular (Jazz) or classical, it's about the craftsmanship and the beauty." Report Abuse
