Notes and Editorial Reviews

On this CD, the Trio Artemis contrasts the old and new. First, there is the famous "Dumky trio" of Antonin Dvorak , a highly appealing, melodious work based on Slavic folk tunes. With the Swiss classical music label "Gallo" the trio has recorded five albums. Another CD, was realized during one of three tours Japan (Osaka, Yokohama, Tokyo). Thus, they not only extended the horizon of their stage experiences between East and West (including the USA and Argentina,) but also symbolize the desire for the growth and development of their musical passion. Europe, however, is the main home of the Trio Artemis, with concerts in Germany, France, Greece, Italy, Austria, Sweden, Spain and of course Switzerland. A rich geographical and cultural strand of concerts, radio and television appearances. - Roland Harders (translated from German) Read less
