This CD contains some very well-known Adagios and some not so familiar ones. In fact, I hadn't realized until now that some of the familiar ones were actually composed by Americans. So, in addition to receiving an hour's worth of some wonderful music, I learned something along the way - all for a very reasonable price, I might add. ArkivMusic is terrific! I am an American temporarily living in the UK. I listen to CPR through my computer, out of the Denver radio station. When I hear something I must have, it's so easy to order it with one click.
