Hark! The Herald Brass will Ring! December 22, 2013 By Rich Cardo See All My Reviews "This is a review of the recording and the performance of the Canadian Brass and not to any reference to the other review as to Arkiv. This is one of the great Brass Quintet Christmas recordings. The power of Brass and Organ with the fine arrangements just offers a magnificent feeling for these carols as to their praise. With the exception of one piece (Jingle Bells, just not crazy about this one arrangement, but everyone has their tastes), there are just some great moments and not because of the music, per se, but because the Canadian Brass delivers.
