Thank providence this exists August 20, 2015 By Jeffrey S. (West Allis, WI) See All My Reviews "I was deeply saddened when I received the news that Tenor Carlo Bergonzi died. Learning that this disc exists as the only one made by him in his career makes it a legacy to treasure in one's opera collection library. Thanks for its availability." Report Abuse
Worth it for Bergonzi May 3, 2013 By J. Tatnall (West Grove, PA) See All My Reviews "This is an all around good Trovatore. Standard version, a few cuts. The voices are all fine, working with an idiomatic conductor of knowledge, taste, and ability. But Bergonzi is a great Manrico. The set is worth his di quella pira alone!" Report Abuse
