Notes and Editorial Reviews

A sleep study conducted at Case Western Reserve University concluded that music played at about 60 beats per minute is the most relaxing aural backdrop for sleep. This two-disc collection, built around that premise, compiles 23 relaxing classical tracks by composers like Beethoven, Debussy, and Erik Satie. The beautiful and uncluttered sounds here make for lovely musical accompaniment not just for sleep but for other quiet activities.
