Purcell and Dowland Sweethearts June 27, 2012 By S Cohenroellvaneyck (SOUTH WENTWORTHVILLE, NSW) See All My Reviews "Here are two discs with Lute songs, English.
There are unique melodies on each -not available on common CDs-.
One recognises with delight the sweet style of Purcell and
the hearty Dowland tunes, of which we recognize some melodies
that are well-known but performed in a moving and different, yes, in a strict-heart-felt style unheard and unique
Good to have to complete one's collection and to sweetly surprise the audience."
