FINALLY ON CD March 18, 2014 By jay kauffman (HADDONFIELD, NJ) See All My Reviews "So glad to finally see this historic recording on CD (I had made my own CDs from the original LP set) Uta Hagen was one of the greatest actresses and she is joined by a steller cast for this recording of Albee's great play. This was recorded during the original run of the play and has the one thing the film lacked - humor. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a series of drama reissues by archive - there were many during the 60's - many feature Olivier and of course the entire Caedmon series of Shakespeare were wonderfully cast by the greatest actors of the period and beautifully directed for the phonograph by Howard Sackler."
