Wonderful voices in a too-modern productionJanuary 30, 2015By Robert W. (Kingston, MA)See All My Reviews"Sometimes it's a shame that a director feels the need to create some symbolic edifice to the point that a wondrous cast of singers is upstaged by concrete mixers and extras shoveling concrete. Great voices and excellent sound and video but I really think that Jone's failed symbolism detracts from the whole. I will listen to this many times -- without the video.."Report Abuse
