A Forgotten Gem !February 2, 2016By Joseph Erdeljac (West Chester, PA)See All My Reviews"This is a wonderful forgotten Verdi Gem that delights with each aria, duet and ensemble. It is hard to believe that it has fallen out of favor when it is filled with great melodies from start to finish. It may be early Verdi, but it is still a delight just as much as Il Trovatore which it reminds me of at times. The cast, ensemble, orchestra and chorus are all in great form. I am so glad that I have found this rarely performed Gem."Report Abuse
