Notes and Editorial Reviews

Dr. Michael N. Jacobson joined the Baylor faculty in 1984 and is currently Professor of Saxophone and Music Technology. He studied at Arizona State, Indiana University and The University of Texas at Austin. Works have been written for him by Fisher Tull, Walter Hartley and Richard Willis. He is active as both a clinician and adjudicator on a regional and national scale. He is a regular columnist for Saxophone Journal and has written for Jazz Player Magazine. In addition to his work in saxophone performance and pedagogy, he is very active in the field of music technology. He is equally conversant in the jazz idiom and has toured and performed with such entertainers as Bill Cosby, Lou Rawls, Sammy Davis, Jr, and the Fifth Dimension. Dr. Michael N.
