Notes and Editorial Reviews
Binnette Lipper has had music in her life from the very start. Early piano lessons and Sunday morning chamber music sessions with family members became a way of life. She received a Bachelor's degree at Hunter College and did graduate work at Juilliard. She studied composition with Louise Talma and Meyer Kupferman, among others. About her music she writes: "The essential component of my music is communication. I strive to connect with my audience, be it performer or listener, and this connection may be aesthetic, intellectual or emotional."
