Brian Bevelander studied at the New England Conservatory of Music, Hartt College of Music, Boston University and West Virginia University. After receiving a doctorate in composition, he did post-graduate study at Brooklyn College, Dartmouth College and Boston University. His music has been performed in Europe, the United Kingdom and the U.S. and broadcast by Danish Radio, Belgian Radio, Radio Moscow and VPRO Radio, among others.
