A Great Set of Discs and a Tremendous Bargain! September 3, 2012 By Richard F. Buckley (Jefferson Hills, PA) See All My Reviews "I don't care if you are an advanced classical collector or a novice just starting out. This set of six discs is a must have! There are so many outstanding pieces of music included that it is impossible to resist. You could spend hundreds to buy recordings that are included on this set and wind up with a ton of selections that you do not really care for. The greatest composers are included - Beethoven, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Borodin, etc., etc., etc.; the finest orchestras - London SO, Philadelphia, Oslo PO, etc., etc., etc.; the greatest artists - Argerich, Menuin, Marriner, Mutter, Previn,, etc., etc., etc. I could go on and on, but I'm sure that you get the point. The selections are unequaled! The price, at a few dollars a disc, make it one of the most attractive buys on the market. It won't be available forever. Buy it while you still can!
