Medium HappyJanuary 18, 2016By doll See All My Reviews"I heard the Coffee Club Orchestra on Keillor's radio show and thought they were great. The CD is ok but the orchestra sound doesn't seem to be mixed right. The reeds and rhythm sections come through loud and clear on most songs but the brass often seems to be fading out. The trumpets, whether on solos or sections, are often indistinct and leave you wondering whose playing the melody. For example, on the 'toodle-oo' song the trumpet solo in the beginning is apparently very well played but the volume prevents it from coming through. I won't be returning the CD but I don't think is doing the very fine orchestra any favors."Report Abuse
