(New Plymouth, -) See All My Reviews "I already had the film version of this operetta on DVD - with Rene Kollo and Birgit Pitsch-Sarata, but do not like her voice. I find this production and the singers much more to my liking. Morbisch does things on a grand scale and so far I have found they do it very well. Choi's, Sou Chang does not reach the standard of Tauber or indeed Kollo, but is very satisfactory. The others are all good. I foung that using Asians made it more realistic and added to the viewing. Photography and sound are excellent, so overall, a good buy." Report Abuse
