Beautiful Music Hard to FindOctober 31, 2012By Christina A. D. (Fort Worth, TX)See All My Reviews"This is a simple, yet gorgeous piece of music dedicated to the Crucifixion story. In the "olden" days, when people were in church from Noon until 3 PM on Good Friday, this music was frequently used in the service we went to so it strikes a lot of chords for me. The variety of forms (solo, chorus, hymn)adds to its interest. The tenor voice on this recording is especially lovely. Olivet to Calvary is not used very much any more so the recording was hard to find. But ArkivMusic's researchers not only found this CD for me, they also found two copies! Yay ArkivMusic - the best!!"Report Abuse
