Stephen Paulus
Born: August 24, 1949; Summit, NJ  
Paulus is an American composer of musical drama. After studying at Minnesota University, he became composer-in-residence of The Minnesota Orchestra in 1983. Paulus gained public recognition with "The Village Singer", a one act opera. Another success was "The Postman Always Rings Twice", first performed in 1982 in St.Louis, MO.
