Ryland Davies, a light lyric tenor, has appeared worldwide in leads and comprimario roles in opera and oratorio. He studied voice at the Royal Manchester College of Music with Frederic Cox, among others. He made his opera debut in 1964 as the Count in Rossini's The Barber of Seville.
