Roger Boutry
Born: February 27, 1932; Paris, France  
Boutry studied at the Paris Conservatoire with Boulanger and later taught harmony there. He won the Prix de Rome in 1954 for his cantata =On ne badine pas avec l'amour=. Influenced by Debussy and Ravel, Boutry's music is known for its expressive melodies.
