Wonderful Amazing Music September 25, 2012 By Clifford H C. (Thompson, MB) See All My Reviews "Odes To Saint Cecilia - John Blow, Giovanni Battista Draghi Odes to Saint Cecilia have always been a fun side notes in musical history. Some of the biggest composers in history have written these odes. These are a real delight for the senses made to impress and entertain. Amazingly addictive melodies will infect your mind. Draghi has a great sense of drama, right from the first bars of the overtures it is really remarkable. Blow also pulls out all of the stops making this music jump from the page. I really have to recommend this recording just for the shear joy of music." Report Abuse
