Since his solo debut at the age of 12, Finnish violinist Petteri Iivonen has performed at important concert venues around the world, including a benefit for the Los Angeles Philharmonic in Choral Hall at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and many other concert and recital halls worldwide.

Petteri made his debut in Israel playing the Tchaikovsky concerto under the baton of Zubin Mehta
Read more in February, 2010. This acclaimed performance led to an immediate invitation to perform the Bruch Concerto No. 1 with the Israel Philharmonic. Petteri has also performed a variety of concertos with many other esteemed conductors including Leif Segerstam and Paul Goodwin.

"Petteri Iivonen: Art of the Violin" is his first recording and several other albums have since been released on various labels. Petteri Iivonen plays a Carlo Bergonzi (1732, Villa Gyllenberg), kindly on loan to him by the Gyllenberg Foundation.
